My Story

Discover the journey that led to the creation of our mindful movement sanctuary

For over ten years, the gym was my comfort zone. I loved the discipline, the sweat, the visible results — until the injuries started creeping in. Shoulder pain, lower back strain, knee aches… each time I made progress, I would be forced to stop, recover, and start all over again. It became an exhausting loop of motivation and frustration.

One day, a friend suggested I try Pilates. At the time I didn’t know much about it. Sure, I had seen reels of Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif doing these funny looking movements on this strange machine, but I had no idea what it really was.

Still, I thought no harm in trying out a class. So, I tried out multiple studios across NCR and most just felt like a replacement of gyms and a waste of time. Finally, one felt different. The workouts were quiet yet powerful. My body felt aligned, not punished. My pain eased. I could move freely again.

Later, during trips to Mumbai and abroad, I visited and tried out other studios — and that’s when I truly understood what great Pilates instruction feels like. It wasn’t about pushing harder; it was about moving better. The focus was on precision, awareness, and progression — not exhaustion. And after every session I felt like a million bucks!

That experience changed everything! Soon, after I began my teacher training with Balanced Body and later Polestar, two of the world’s most respected Pilates education systems. What started as a personal pursuit soon became a passion. The deeper I went, the more I realized Pilates isn’t just exercise — it’s a language of movement, awareness, and alignment.

Now, with The Body Edit, my goal is to bring that same depth of practice to Faridabad — where every session is guided, intentional, and rooted in quality instruction. So that you, too, can experience what I did when I first discovered the transformative power of truly good Pilates — to move with ease, strength, and confidence every single day.
